Margaret Valeriano,

Lyric Soprano
Margaret Valeriano, a newcomer to the wide world of opera, is active in opera and music theater throughout the Bay Area having performed with BareStage, Bay Area Summer Opera Theater Institute, Golden Gate Opera, Summersong, Strawberry Shakes and Taneen Opera.  Favorite roles include Ottavia, L'incoronazione di Poppea; Fiordiligi, Cosi Fan Tutte; Young Wife, Hello Again; Audrey, Little Shop of Horrors; and Desdemona in Otello. 
Upcoming performances in 2007 include the role of Phyllis in Iolanthe with Lyric Theatre of San Jose and High Priestess in Aida with Berkeley Opera.  Ms. Valeriano received a bachelor's degree in theater from U. C. Berkeley.
